Formed in 1989 by Lawre Suttor, the agency was purchased by Honeyguide Research Services in 2004 and rebranded to Qualitative Recruitment Australia in 2008 under the helm of Managing Director, Mike Beder.
Collectively, senior management and staff have worked in the Australian market research industry for over 50 years including positions in full-service research agencies, event management services and qualitative recruitment companies. We have first-hand experience from developing a research brief through session recruiting, questionnaire design, interviewing, moderating, data capture, analysis and reporting as well as liaising with clients. This enables Qualitative Recruitment Australia to provide a truly value added event service.
We actively participate in the market research industry, with senior staff making significant contributions to the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) and the Association of Market & Social Research Organizations (AMSRO). The company is certified to ISO20252 requirements and is a member of the AMSRO.
QRA endorses and complies with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act (1988) in relation to the handling of personal information. Furthermore, QRA conforms to the Market & Social Research Privacy Code (2014) which sets out how the APPs are to be applied in relation to the collection, retention, use and disclosure of personal information in market and social research. The code is administered by AMSRO and adjudicated by the Australian Privacy Commissioner.
Mike is tertiary qualified, has Qualified Practising Market Researcher (QPMR) accreditation via the AMSRS, and has wide ranging marketing research and business experience. As a means of demonstrating our commitment to servicing our overseas clients, Mike is a member of ESOMAR and the Market Research Association (USA) with whom he has achieved Professional Researcher Certification (PRC).
